Chinpai is located in the south-western part of Birbhum District in West Bengal. It is located off the Panagarh-Morgram Highway, on the bank of Bakreshwar River some distance downstream from the hot springs and temples at Bakreshwar. It lies 6 km north of Dubrajpur. In my childhood I did not realise the charm and ancient traditions the village holds. The tranquillity and peaceful atmosphere and clean air embalming ourselves make me feel truly grateful to know this place.
